WCK's Response to Tornado in Illinois (Mar. 2026)

World Central Kitchen is responding in Illinois after a tornado struck the area around Kankakee, causing fatalities and leaving behind a wake of destruction. The storm left many families without power, and some have been forced into shelters as the tornado destroyed their homes. Road closures and infrastructure damage have limited access to food.
