The Mastercard Employee Assistance Fund was created for the Mastercard Employee Community, including employees or eligible dependents of deceased employees, who are facing financial hardship due to a catastrophic event.
The fund relies on employee donations with support from Mastercard. Every contribution helps, and when combined with the donations of others, may provide a tax-free grant to help a colleague in a time of need.
The MasterCard Employee Assistance Fund is administered by Emergency Assistance Foundation, Inc. (EAF), a public 501c(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization with IRS approval specifically for employee hardship and disaster relief funds. Grant applications are reviewed entirely by the Program Administrator and are confidential. Mastercard does not have a role in grant application reviews.
Donating is voluntary. Grant applications are evaluated based on need.
