WCK's Response to Back-To-Back Earthquakes in Venezuela (June 2026)

Two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela on the evening of June 24, collapsing buildings in the capital of Caracas and sending shockwaves across multiple states. WCK’s Relief Team is working with longtime partners in the country to support impacted families.

We have led multiple responses in Venezuela, most recently in 2024 when families in the state of Sucre were displaced by Hurricane Beryl. Our other responses include Hurricane Julia in 2022 and support for families during the migrant crisis from 2019 to 2022.
