STREET ANGELS INC

Street Angels provides a mobile outreach program that was created to assist people who are experiencing homelessness in the greater Milwaukee area. The outreach takes place 156 nights per year, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evening.

Each outreach night, two small buses are stocked with hot meals, bag lunches, bottled water, and other items to distribute such as blankets, clothing, tents, and hygiene needs. Currently, between the two buses, there are an average of 36-40 stops being made and approximately 145 people served each night.

While the short-term goal of the outreach program is to provide necessities that people need to survive, the long-term goal of the program is to connect people to shelter and housing resources. Street Angels strives to cultivate relationships with each individual served in order to gain their trust and the opportunity to guide them toward a better future.
