Turkey and Syria hit by catastrophic earthquake
On February 6, 2023, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria. One of the strongest in the region in over 100 years. This region is home to an already vulnerable population due to years of conflict and now collapsed buildings and damaged access roads have left survivors stranded in the cold and snow. Sadly, the death toll has exceeded 20,000 and continues to rise hour by hour.

Our hearts break for the children and families in Turkey and Syria who have been affected by this emergency.

Please give today to help people suffering as a result of this tragic earthquake.

World Vision is responding by providing life-saving support with access to temporary shelters, heaters, clean water, non-food items and critically needed healthcare. We’re also providing care for vulnerable children separated from families amid the turmoil.

Your gift will help provide relief to people affected by the earthquake.
